Professor Erik Ydstie to receive 2007 Computing in Chemical Engineering Award of the CAST Division of AIChEErik Ydstie was selected as recipient of the 2007 Computing in Chemical Engineering Award of the CAST Division of AIChE. This award recognizes outstanding contributions in the application of computing and systems technology to chemical engineering. He is recognized for development of methods for stable and robust control and optimization of chemical processes. Professor Ydstie will receive the award at the Annual AIChE Meeting in Salt Lake City (Tuesday, November 6, 2007).
