CMU's Chem-E-Car Team Takes Second Place at Nationals

The Chemical Engineering Chem-E-Car team competed in the national Chem-E-Car competition at the AIChE national meeting in Salt Lake City. 30 teams qualified to compete at the national competition by finishing in the top spots at their regional competitions this past spring.

The teams entry stopped 4.5 inches from the 67 foot target distance! Only one team was able to beat this distance stopping at 4 inches from the tartget distance. Congratulations to all the participants for the 2nd place national finish!

The team would like to thank all CMU faculty, staff, students and alumni in attendance for their support.
