Professor Lee White – Winner of 2008 Colloid and Surface Chemistry Award of the American Chemical SocietyProfessor White was recently awarded the 2008 Colloid and Surface Chemistry Division award of the American Chemical Society. The award was given for his seminal contributions to the field of electrokinetics. His award was presented at the awards banquet held during the Spring 2008 Meeting of the American Chemical Society in New Orleans. In conjunction with the event, a symposium in his honor was organized at the meeting and included distinguished speakers from around the world.
