Teresa Kirschling Wins ACS Student Presentation Award

Teresa Kirschling has received an Award of Excellence from the American Chemical Society Division of Environmental Chemistry for her presentation "Impact of nanoscale zero-valent iron treatment on the geochemistry and microbial diversity of trichloroethylene contaminated aquifers" at the 238th ACS National Meeting in August 2009. Teresa is conducting her Ph.D. research with Chemical Engineering faculty member Bob Tilton and courtesy faculty member Greg Lowry of the Department Civil and Environmental Engineering.
