Fengqi You, faculty member in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University, and alumnus of the department, has been selected recipient of the W. David Smith, Jr. Graduate Student Paper Award of the CAST Division of AIChE. The award, which will be presented to him at the Annual AIChE Meeting in Minneapolis on October 18, 2011, is for his paper "Design of responsive supply chains under demand uncertainty" that he completed with Prof. Ignacio Grossmann as part of his Ph.D. work.
