The faculty, staff and students of the department create the congenial, scholarly environment in which we work and study. The department has roughly 20 faculty, half a dozen associated faculty, a dozen staff and roughly 20 visitors and researchers. The student body includes ~180 undergraduates, ~20 Masters degree students and ~80 PhD students.
